About:
Raymond Alva (rap) is a portrait photographer currently residing in Riverside, Ca (located an hour and a half from Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Diego). His exploration of light and color blends with his desire to document the stories in front of him. In wanting to showcase his subjects from a fresh and alternative viewpoint, Alva’s work helps us understand both the similarities and differences between us all. When not shooting with music artists or those around him, Alva tends to find himself at the local DIY skate spot or the movie theater, catching the latest Roger Deakins film. He finds himself primarily working out of Southern California, but is available for travel. you can find him on Instagram at @Rapberry
